My brother loves horses and some of his world revolves around their care and showing. When I attended a horse show for the first time I saw love and affection, discipline of equestrian skills, support, sharing and caring that arises from a dedicated community called "the barn".
Capturing the expression on my brother's face as he was awarded the Western Pleasure Amateur Gentlemen Championship at the 2013 Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show was the goal of this drawing.
